So much has been happening during this vacation that there hasn't been time for blogging. That's a good thing, right? Of course it is! The pictures are in no particular order since we've been having so much fun and can't always match a day with the pictures.
We started our 'Sagers Weekend' off with an opening dinner which was able to include both sets of grandparents (Porter and Sagers) and all 9 of my immediate family. The theme followed Disney's Brother Bear complete with our own version of the game played during the salmon run. Go watch the movie if you don't know what I'm talking about...it's a good one!
We all had such a good time eating and socializing that we had to designate a photographer. Great job Natalie!
Lots of candid pictures of everyone were taken throughout the evening. **I wore the apron for dinner knowing I would be sitting by Zeb, but that didn't stop me from spilling jello on myself...**
We gathered to sing the song Welcome from the movie and play our game.
Gpa and Gma Porter sharing one of their significant events from the past year.
Gpa and Gma Sagers taking their turn...We learned a lot about our family that night and really enjoyed the company of each other.
We spent Memorial Day in Tooele visiting the graves of the Sagers side of the family. It's one of the most memorable traditions our family has. I don't remember a year going by that we didn't make an effort to be there. (There have been a few years when the weather did not permit travelling, but other than that it's been a yearly event)
Zeb and Uncle Gregg just having a good time. Not sure what else was happening, but they seem to be happy so we don't worry about it!
Aunt Natalie finally graduated from high school! The ceremony was a little long for Zeb's liking but he handled it like a trooper. I should say we all did...Natalie included. We enjoyed Chinese food for dinner before (since the festivities didn't begin until 7:30 PM) and the lovely Marriott Center seats for the next 3 hours.
One of the better family pictures taken...let's just leave it at that.
Zeb discovered Uncle Erick's guitar and has been serenading us ever since. He'll carry the guitar, strumming and singing away. Uncle Gregg took some fashion liberties while Zeb was running around clothes-less.
