The month of February took us from one end of a spectrum to the other...in several categories. We started out with kids having all their teeth. At least the 4 kids that had teeth.
Within the first 4 days of the month, miss Abigail traveled to the other side by losing both her top front teeth. She had previously lost another on the bottom, earning herself the nickname "toothless" for the foreseeable future. Our children have a tendency to lose several teeth in a short amount of time, yet take eons for the new teeth to grow in.
Margaret has always been super loving and friendly. She just can't help herself. She is a wonderful sister and friend, even when you don't want it. Oliver has not always been very appreciative of his sister's loves.
Almost overnight (at least that's how it seems!), he started smiling and enjoying spending time with his siblings. Quite honestly, this has been one of our favorite changes. Seeing the sibling love being reciprocated just makes our hearts swell.
The first weekend of February we were spending our afternoons (as soon as the kids got out of school and/or I finished teaching piano for the day) at the pool.
Lots of fun times playing in the sun and water!
Working our way to the other side of the weather spectrum - we paused for a moment to create Valentines boxes
It's so fun to see the children's personalities come through in whatever project we do. Zeb is clinging to his fascination with super heroes. Not surprising. Abigail is our animal lover. She goes back and forth almost daily about which animal is her favorite. She settled for an owl because the design was "just sooo cute!" and looked manageable. Maggie couldn't stand to be left out, so she got her unicorn. She loves all things make-believe and fantastical. Luckily, Lizzie and Oliver had already decided that bedtime was a great idea, so we only had to "help" make 3.
Just following Zeb's birthday, the kids and I headed north to visit family. We got to witness the baby blessing our our new cousin Jackson, learn how to play pickle ball, and Bryan got to have his own adventure at home before joining us. He went to a BYU v. SD Men's Basketball game with friends. Friends who just happened to have access to the broadcasting trailer.
Great seats!
So cool to see the inside of the trailer and all that goes in to broadcasting an event!

The later half of February found us in the snow! Aunt Rachel came home from her mission and we had a holiday from school that all lined up and made for a fun quick trip.
Snow is such a novelty for our kids (and us as well!) that it is always exciting when we get to play in it. Spending time with family is also a bonus.
Gma Sagers helped Oliver discover some new food interests.
Not sure why the orange peel is so appealing...but glad to see him eat just about anything!
While on our quick trip, we stopped at the Bean Museum on BYU campus. It is always fascinating to see all the animals and displays. We were able to see the special display of the Titanoboa!
The life-size replica was chilling to see. It's one thing to imagine something so monstrous, but to see it before your eyes...
Maggie got a bit nervous until we explained it was completely dead and not going to spring to life at any given moment.
While on campus, we visited the bowling alley. Gpa Sagers had promised an ice cream shake to anyone that could beat Aunt Natalie in a game...
Zeb tried his darndest but couldn't quit pull it off.
Bryan came out victorious! I'm proud to say that I didn't get my lowest score (we won't say what that is!) and a fun time was had by all!
More play in the snow on the way to the cars.
Just can't resist a snowball fight!
Or a good whitewashing!
Abby was a good sport, letting her Daddy have some fun. Lots of laughs and loving this end of the spectrum.
Top of the day with ice cream from the BYU Creamery and there you have it. It is never too cold for ice cream!
A trip to Gpa and Gma's house with snow is not complete without a sled ride down the deck steps.
The giggles and smiles never stopped. Until it was time to come inside. We aren't very well equipped with cold weather apparel, so we have to do what we can to avoid frostbite.
We truly enjoying traveling on our various spectrums and have so much fun remembering all our adventures.
