February 1 just happened to be our hundredth day of school. Maggie was excited to dress up as if she was 100 years old. Pattern mixing, bright lipstick, and scarves were her definition. We also used silver hair chalk and baby powder to color her hair white.
Zeb turned 11! He continues to amaze us every day with his bravery, intellect, generosity, love, curiosity, humor, and more.
We started the morning off with donuts (his favorite!) and opening gifts. Lucky guy! We typically wait until the evening to fully celebrate, but Dad was able to spend the morning at home this time around.
Apparently, Zeb isn't a big fan of his other clothing. Haha!
All dressed and ready for a fantastic day at school!
Zeb requested a few different types of cakes. First, he wanted a frankenstein cake. Then he asked for a baseball. He finally settled on a football cake.
Gpa and Gma Downs joined us for a fun afternoon and dinner out.
Birthday wishes to end the day.
His favorite gifts from the day were his new pocketknife and hammock. He could hardly wait to test them out, so Bryan figured out a way to hang his hammock. He's slept in it nearly every night since.
He finished the day by saying it was the best birthday ever! Zebediah is growing into a very special young man. He is very quick to help others. He loves to learn and explore. He likes things to be in order and organized. He loves watching movies with Mom and Dad to feel all grown up. We sure are blessed to have him as part of our family!
