The date: New Year's Eve
The time: All day long!
The place: Disneyland
Bryan had a work assignment in Torrence on New Year's Eve, so we decided that Zeb and I would spend the day at Disneyland. That way, we were able to utilize the carpool lanes on the freeways and have a fun day all in one shot. Bryan dropped Zeb and I off in the later morning (between 10:30 and 11:00) and we never looked back. 
We took our time enjoying many of the fun attractions for children. Zeb loved riding Dumbo, Small World, a roller coaster in Toon Town, Pirates of the Caribbean, the train, King Arthur's Carousel (twice), and several other rides. He even got to meet Tinkerbell and another fairy.
You'll have to forgive the lighting in some of the pictures...not a lot of time to adjust everything with a 2-year old on the loose!
Bryan joined us in the evening after he has finished his work for the day. We had saved the Matterhorn for when Bryan was there, but on our way to the ride Zeb fell asleep! Disneyland is definitely a happening place on New Year's Eve! There were so many people in the park it was hard to walk around. When we were leaving (around 8:00) the party was just beginning both at Disneyland and California Adventure. We didn't mind leaving all of the chaos behind for a quiet evening at home...especially with a sleeping little boy!

The poor little guy was so exhausted he didn't even wake up during a diaper change and the transfer from the stroller to the car.
