It's that time of year again! I'm not sure why he gets to be so lucky (okay, maybe I do have an idea...), but Bryan got to celebrate his 29th birthday all weekend long! It all started when he got to come home early from work Friday. This time "early" meant that we could all go out to dinner as a family. We chose to go to Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour & Restaurant (a newer hot-spot in town) and we had so much fun! We made sure to let them know that we were there celebrating Bryan's birthday...so he got the royal treatment. A very rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" to the tune of "The Addams Family" and a free sundae were included. Of course, there was a birthday at every other table in the place (that is only a slight exaggeration...the celebrations were happening every 5 minutes!) so it was a very fun night.
Saturday morning I got to go to a baptism in our ward so Bryan had lots of fun playtime with the kids while I was gone. When I got home we got ready for a date. Yes, you read that right. Bryan and I went on a date! We got a babysitter and went out...just us. It was awesome! Bryan wanted to see the Hunger Games, so we did. Can I just say how much more enjoyable going to a movie is without little ones? We actually got to see the whole movie. Anyway...

We decided to go ahead and do his gifts since the chances of being able to do them on Monday were slim. Zeb was thrilled to help with the gift wrapping and giving.

A new wireless mouse for his laptop! Boy, is he ever spoiled.
What's this?! A GPS!! No more printing off maps, getting lost, or getting stuck in traffic for Bryan!

The celebrating continued on Sunday with a Downs family birthday dinner for Bryan and Calie. Party and Jen and Jason's house!

Monday (the actual day for him) came and we were still partying. Not really, since he had to go to work, but it still felt like a party. Zeb and Abby got to call and sing "Happy Birthday" to their favorite daddy. He got more cards in the mail (thanks to all!). He even got home in time to join us for a fun Family Night. Pretty much the best birthday ever!
