We tried something new this year for our Valentine's...and really enjoyed it! Knowing that we would be over-run with treats on Valentine's Day, we did this the day before.
We made our very own kisses out of rice krispie treats. The kids loved being helpers (as always) and they loved eating them even more! I found the idea on Pinterest (big surprise there...) and couldn't resist trying it. **Back story** Every year my dad gets a large rice krispie heart courtesy of my mom. Not wanting to be a complete copycat, we put a little spin on their tradition. Bryan liked the idea, but wasn't in love with it (supposedly the kiss was too big - so either try a smaller funnel next year or maybe just a new idea altogether) so we'll see what happens next year when we take a moment to remember all the love we share.
