Oliver learned to roll over! He is constantly amazing us with his progress and growth.
What a cutie! Lots of movement going on.
Zebediah is such a wonderful big brother and helper for me! He is always willing to play with Ollie, or hold him while I do a quick chore at home. One day we had to do a few errands (Christmas shopping for Daddy and Costco run) and realized after we arrived at the first store that Lizzie didn't have shoes on or in the car...and our stroller had been taken out of the car.
Wrap carrier + Big brother = day saved! Zeb's willingness to wear Oliver made it possible for me to carry Elizabeth and still get our errands done. He was super excited at first, but was also very grateful that Costco has big shopping carts that Liz and Maggie could sit in, which made it possible for me to wear Ollie. Lots of smiles from strangers going on.
Sneaky, sneaky
Someone sneaking Mom's phone caught someone else sneaking snacks. Lots of sneaking going on.
What better way to spend Thanksgiving break than to go swimming? Apparently, we were some of the only ones with that idea since we had the entire pool to ourselves for a good portion of the time we were there.
Oliver likes the water more and more each time we go. Hooray! We wouldn't know what to do with a child that didn't like the water. Oh, wait. Elizabeth wasn't a fan for the first 18 months of her life. Thank goodness we don't have to go through that torture again.
His smiles!
Her smiles! Lots of wet smiles going on.
Zeb has been busy in school this year. He has struggled with his writing in the past. It's still a bit of a struggle, but is improving by leaps and bounds. He brought home this assignment just in time for Thanksgiving. As both Bryan and I read through this, our hearts swelled with joy. **Insert happy tears** And then we got to his closing statement and had tears of laughter. **And there is the 9-year old boy coming through**.
Lots of feels going on.
He also did a project on the different geographic regions of our state. I was jumping for joy seeing all the neat information he's getting to learn (and it just so happens that I really enjoy geography!).
If you can read through the descriptions of the different regions, you will find that there is a whole lot of amazing going on in California.
Abigail loves to draw. Sometimes it's quite clear what she is trying to show us. Other times we need a bit of an explanation. She has been learning about sequencing in school and put it into practice with this lovely piece.
(First Alison meat's Bryan! Next Bryan meat's Alison!) She did have to let me know that I do, in fact, have 2 eyes...one is just covered by my hair. We also got to have a fun conversation about the correct spelling of "meat vs. meet". Apostrophe's can be saved for a later time.
I was experimenting with pajama pant patterns for the kids Christmas jammies...and found this super cute one for Oliver. He had to go shirtless so he could match big brother. Zeb has reached the stage of shedding his shirt at the soonest possible moment.
Lots of chillin' going on.
