You might just say that we are obsessed with the pool. You might just be right! We spend as much time as possible at the pool and never get tired of it. Abigail is such a big girl this year and is using arm floaties. We tried (and failed!) last year to have her use a ring - the baby-sized inner tubes - but she wouldn't have it. She just crawled right out as soon as she could. Anyway...in her constant quest to be just like big brother Zeb, she also "needs" her own set of goggles. Knowing that the goggles will stay on for 10 minutes at the longest, they go on over the hat.
Either too cute or too funny for words!
She is also fearless - just like big brother! Neither of them likes to wait for the adults to get in the pool before they jump right in.
Zeb is becoming a pro at "diving down" and swimming. He is even starting to be brave enough to try floating on his back! We tried all last summer without any progress so we are thrilled that he's willing to try this year.
All of our swimming and playing in the water makes us a little bit tired. So we relax any way we can...
In this case it is by sitting on Mom's kitchen stool while watching a show. Who knew that could be comfortable?!
We finish the day by falling asleep anywhere and everywhere...except the beds! Abigail has been climbing out of her crib for a while now (I admit that I taught her how...but only because she was trying to do it on her own and I didn't want her getting hurt) and does not like to go to bed. We frequently find her in places other than the crib. One of her favorites is the floor behind the chair, snuggled up right next to the wall. Another favorite is under the crib. What's wrong with the bed?! Sleeping location aside, after a good night's sleep we can't wait to go to the pool again! Love my water babies!
