We have been having several park days lately...and I finally remembered to take my camera! Just because it took me almost a month after the fact to update the blog with pictures doesn't mean anything. Except that I've been slacking. But that's over now. Is May really almost over already?! It seems like the year just started. We've been so busy (translated to mean having fun, being lazy, learning to do chores, etc.)! Enough stalling...
There are so many parks in our lovely town that we decided to discover all of them (24 to be exact). There is also a little matter of Zeb asking to go to the park with hippos (stone animals are at several of the parks...and each park has different animals) and I just can't remember which park that was! So we are going through the list trying to find that park again.
Sometimes our park days are only fun because we go alone...and then there are the extra fun park days when we meet up with friends! This particular day we chose Kenyon Park. It met all of our requirements...toys, grass, sand, and easy to find! We remembered to bring our sand toys (a must!) but they didn't even get used. We were having too much fun playing with all of the other toys at the park to even consider digging in the sand. (All of this is according to my somewhat questionable memory, so if the facts are wrong it's only because I mixed them with another day at the park...hehe!)

Zeb loves to explore...and really didn't want to pause long enough for a picture. Silly goose.
This park was perfect for slide races! Zeb usually cheated by choosing the middle slide (the fastest) and starting to go down before we said go. Good thing nobody really cared about who won the race.
They all look like winners to me!
