Christmas Time?

Shortly after our wonderful Thanksgiving holiday we did a little of this...

We spent one evening putting up all of our Christmas decorations as a family! The smiles never stopped and the helpers were super. Our tree was a little unbalanced (all of the ornaments were on the bottom) but that was an easy fix since both kids loved rearranging the ornaments on a very regular basis.

...and a little of that...

Zeb has quite the talent of throwing 2 Frisbees at the same time. He just stacks them and lets them fly. Amazing!

Love playing in the leaf piles!

Super cute watching little miss Abby learning to throw a disc.

...then we did some of this...

As soon as Abigail walked in the door for our annual ward Christmas breakfast and saw Santa, she was off. She had the biggest grin on her face the entire time. In fact, while we were eating Santa was wandering through the tables wishing everyone well and she ran up to him for a second (and very extended) hug. Just might have made Daddy a little jealous...maybe.

The kids each got to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas (Abby wanted "pink presents" and Zeb's list was very specific and exact. He wanted, "my cheetah, my bear, my shield, my hammer, my transformer firetruck, and my angry birds box". His list was the same any time he told anyone about it - same order and everything. He has his Gma Downs' memory!) and were thrilled to see him.

Since all of this happened the first week of December we still had plenty of time to enjoy the holiday spirit and do a few more fun activities.
