Bryan already blogged about July (mostly) with his post about our SAS trip to Utah, the Angels games we attended, and so on. He did forget, however, to write about how we started the month. We did a family 5K as part of our stake 4th of July celebration. Not really as a family, since Bryan and Zeb went ahead (Bryan ran and Zeb rode his bike) while the girls and I brought up the rear. Literally...we were among the last of the pack to finish. But who cares?! We walked with friends and had a grand time!
Obviously a before picture (since everyone in the background is all smiles and not sweaty...we looked the same after).
Abigail started out riding her bike. Then we got to the hills. She was a trooper and made it about halfway before getting tired and asking to ride in the stroller. After the run/walk/bike ride we had a program and pancake breakfast. Great way to start the holiday morning. We had a blast and plan to do it again this year.
