Easter! What a wonderful time of year. We love celebrating and remembering the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is so nice to have another reason to center ourselves and find (re-find) our focus. One of our favorite traditions is new outfits for church. I had the kids all stand in the same spot for individual pictures...fun to see the height difference.

After a fantastic morning at church, we went down to spend the afternoon/evening with the Downs family. An extra bonus this year was getting to see Gpa and Gma Downs, newly home from serving their mission in Mexico! Easter eggs hunts with the cousins are the best.
We got to plant flower pots and deliver them to seniors in our community for the annual "Menifee Better Together" day. We love that they provide child-appropriate activities so families with young ones can participate and give service.
Abigail brought a project home from school showing all she'd been learning about the life cycle and dichotomy of plants.
BIRTHDAY TIME (take 2)! Elizabeth was ecstatic (according to her sister) to finally have her birthday. I'm not convinced that she truly understood what was happening, but it was still fun.
We started the morning off at the park - a favorite place for our favorite 2-year old.

...and purple cake! Purple is her new favorite color (she was stuck on yellow for the longest time, but has since discovered how fun it is to say "purple"). Liz is very quick to smile, giggle, and have fun. She loves to "read" books, sings songs, dance, and play. She is a very smart little girl. She is a big bundle of joy in a small package and we couldn't ask for her to be any other way.
