Maggie Belle

Margaret finally turned 5!! She was so excited she could hardly contain herself in the weeks leading up to her happy event. Maggie loves to learn and grow. She wants to be just like the big kids and is definitely ready for the next step in her life. We love watching her discover new things and new ways to do old things.

Since her birthday was on a Saturday, we got to spend the entire day doing things Maggie loves. Donuts for breakfast, games, movies, time at the park.

So many smiles!
Playdough, blankets, dragons...oh my!

Maggie Belle is so fun! She is constantly asking questions and listening for the answers. She likes to read (tell the books she knows so well), do math, make up stories, play pretend, ride bikes and scooters, color, do puzzles, use scissors (with and without permission...but she is getting better about asking first!), and so much more. She is growing like crazy - she is almost as tall as Abigail - but still has the innocence of her age. It's absolutely wonderful. She is absolutely wonderful.

We have a love/hate relationship with playdough. We caved and let Maggie have some and she impressed us all. She is very careful about putting it all away when she is done, she's kept it at the designated play area (so far!) and hasn't mixed the colors yet. The goal is to keep varying colors for at least 2 weeks before ending us with just a mass of brown.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Maggie Belle and are so grateful she is a part of our family.
