Fun Friend Time

We've been having lots of fun with friends lately. We go to a play group every week and enjoy our friends. We go to story time at the library every week and enjoy other friends. We go to church every week and enjoy even more friends. And then...we do special trips with friends.

We spent a few hours at our local trampoline gym (that we just found out about!) and loved every minute of it! **Lucky for us we had chosen an indoor activity for that day...since the temperature was 97 degrees at 11:00 am! In November!** Zeb and Abigail were pretty much in heaven, being able to jump around on just about every surface in the building. I did have to remind a certain young boy that the pads between the trampolines were not for climbing or sliding several times, but he was usually pretty quick to listen.
They loved jumping and swinging (there was a rope swing!) into the foam pits!

Abby and Logan didn't like to wait for each other to get out before jumping in...much more fun to play with your friends!

This is the best picture of the day...and it's so blurry! The kids were constantly on the move.

Abigail loved the dodgeball area (since we went during the day when all the bigger kids were in school we didn't have to worry about an actual game of dodgeball being played) and trying to jump and play with the balls at the same time.

We took another special trip this week to one of our local malls. We started out at the playground, then decided that we were hungry so into the food court we went. We just so happened to give in to our kids' request and let them ride the carousel!
Huge smiles all around! Zeb was thrilled to "go up so high" on his horse, while Abigail couldn't stop smiling from her first solo ride.

After lunch we found the Choo-Choo Monga (or as Zeb likes to call it, "the play train")! The train drives around the sidewalks, giving the kids a quick 5-10 minute ride. Even though we went on a day when school was out, the lines were not long and the kids got to go twice in a row! Lucky ducks!

They had so much fun and were so good that we just might have to do it again soon! We sure love our friend time. They get to play and I get to have conversations with other adults...it's really what keeps us sane most some days!
