All Dressed Up

Zeb has a knack for picking just the right outfit the any occasion. He must get it from his daddy...

Exhibit A
He got all dressed up and headed for the back door.  On his way out he said, "Bye Mom. See you later". I responded in turn and also asked where he was off to. He replied (and I'm not kidding at all!), "Gma's house. Bye!". Okay...I guess we'll see you later then...have fun walking! **For the record, he's been asking to go to Gma's house all week**

I can understand the need for a hat and belt (although why the hat needs to be sideways is beyond me), it's a long walk to Gma's house and it's very sunny out. I'm a little stumped with the hammers. What possible use could he have for hammers at Gma's house? And does he really need all four? Your guess is as good as mine!

Exhibit B
Finally! We have been trying for about a year now to get a picture of Zeb in his Sunday best...this is the best we've gotten so far. We cornered him in the kitchen right after church this past Sunday before he could change and eat. He insisted on having his eyes shut or squinty - every single time we ask him to 'say cheese'.

We might have used a little bribery persuasion (call it what you will) to get him to keep his eyes open. Totally worth it!

Exhibit C
PJ bottoms and a hoodie...perfect for the acceptance of the bribe. Evidence of which is already on his face!

Milk and cookies...yum! We tried the cookies recommended by Aunt Deon - chocolate chip cookies stuffed with Oreos. Delicious...and filling all at once. My favorite part about the cookies is that one is enough! I've never been able to say that about a cookie before. Thanks for showing us the light Aunt Deon!

You'll have to pull out that pic of Zeb with the four (4!) hammers in a few years and ask him to explain himself on that one. That kid is full of personality, isn't he! So darling!

Um, yeah--those cookies are hefty enough that by eating just one, you're good for about three days . . . . Glad you liked them though!
