Zeb got a new T-Ball set for Christmas (thanks Gpa and Gma Downs!!) and completely adores it! He literally ripped open the box in his excitement to start playing "baseball" just like Daddy. We have had the perfect weather for baseball this past week (temperatures averaging 76 degrees - beautiful for being mid-January!) and have taken advantage of it.
Staring off into the horizon...probably just getting distracted by an airplane or car while picking up the balls.
All set! He spends so many hours playing baseball and cries when we have to clean up and come inside. **We did not match his shorts to his bat on purpose! We (meaning me) don't think that far ahead when we get dressed in the morning. It just happened that we brought the camera out that day. Just thought that should be clarified. In case you were wondering.**
He's a natural...even if he does hold the bat incorrectly. He's just continuing his sports oddity of playing left-handed (or left-footed in the case of soccer) while being right-handed. He decided to combine the two for this, however, by batting right-handed but holding the bat as if he were batting left-handed. We're working on it.
Abigail was also enjoying the nice weather. She loves to see everything that happens - really can't stand to be left out. Abby isn't such a fan of tummy-time, but that's the price to see sometimes. She has nearly mastered the skill of rolling onto her side. Soon she'll be sitting up, crawling, walking, talking...growing up too fast!
Fresh air does wonders for your smile! We highly recommend it.
